Privacy Policy
Effective / updated: 16 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Easy Cash Point (ECP), at ecppanonline.com, handles information for its website, Android application and connected PAN, recharge, wallet and retailer services. Privacy enquiries can be sent to info.easycashpoint@gmail.com.
Information used for our services
- Account and business details: name, username, mobile number, email, shop name, address, state, PIN code, account role, PAN and Aadhaar/UID details submitted during registration or verification.
- PAN applications and corrections: applicant and family details, date of birth, contact and address details, identity/address/date-of-birth proofs, Aadhaar documents where required, photograph, signature, application references and processing status. The information required depends on the selected service.
- Find PAN Details: the identity details submitted for an authorised lookup, the returned PAN information, request reference and transaction status. Only request your own details or act with the person's permission.
- Mobile/DTH recharge and bill payments: mobile number or customer/subscriber ID, operator, plan, amount, payment and transaction references, transaction status and recharge history.
- Wallet and payments: wallet credits/debits, balances, payment references, receipts and refund records. Payment providers process the details entered on their payment pages under their own privacy notices.
- Support and technical records: enquiries, attachments, account activity, IP address, request times and browser/device information present in server logs. Session cookies support login and website operation.
- Biometric RD Service requests: the device model and serial number, mobile number and email you enter to renew a fingerprint device's RD Service, with the order and payment status.
- Messages we send: your mobile number and email are used to send account, registration, OTP and transaction messages by SMS, WhatsApp or email through our messaging providers.
- Biometric-enabled verification, where selected: identity/authentication details and registered-device service information are processed through the service's verification provider. Use that service only after reviewing its consent and authentication instructions.
Why information is used
Information is used to create and administer accounts, verify eligibility and identity, submit or track requested applications, retrieve authorised PAN details, complete recharges and payments, reconcile wallets and refunds, provide support, prevent misuse and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Retailers must obtain the applicant's permission before submitting personal information or documents.
When information is shared
Information needed to fulfil your request is transmitted to the relevant PAN processing/verification service, recharge operator or aggregator, bill-payment provider, payment gateway, or authentication provider. Authorised retailers/distributors handling a request may access the information needed for that request. Hosting and technical support providers may process data to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to investigate fraud and protect users. Third-party websites and payment or verification pages have their own privacy policies.
Android app permissions
The ECP Android app asks only for the access its features need. Each permission is requested when you use the feature, and you can allow, deny or later withdraw it in Android settings; denying one only stops that feature.
- Location (approximate and precise): requested only when you open NSDL e-KYC PAN, because the NSDL (Protean) e-KYC page requires the browser's location to proceed. The location is read by that page during the e-KYC session; ECP does not store it or track your location in the background.
- Contacts: used only when you tap the contact button on the recharge screen, to fill in the mobile number of the one contact you choose. Your contact list is not uploaded, stored or shared.
- Camera, photos and files: used only when you capture or choose a photo, signature or document to upload for a request; only the file you pick is sent, for that request.
- Fingerprint / screen lock (app lock): if you turn on app lock, Android verifies your fingerprint or screen lock on the device. ECP never receives your fingerprint or lock-screen data; the app only learns whether the check passed. This is separate from the Biometric RD Service above.
- Internet: needed to connect to ECP's servers and the service providers named in this policy.
Permission grants do not authorise any unrelated use of your information. The app does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Cookies and external resources
The website uses sessions/cookies for account access and operational features. Browser settings can restrict cookies, which may affect login. Website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and using the WhatsApp support link opens WhatsApp; these providers receive the connection information needed to deliver their services and apply their own policies.
Security
The public website is served over HTTPS. Keep passwords and transaction credentials private, use trusted devices, and submit identity documents only through the intended service workflow. Access to personal information should be limited to the staff and service providers who need it to process requests. No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected account misuse to support promptly.
Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while the account is used and as needed to provide services. Application, payment and transaction records may be retained to complete pending requests, reconcile payments, resolve disputes, investigate fraud or meet legal requirements. Records no longer needed for these purposes are eligible for deletion. A deletion request includes the account and associated personal data, subject to necessary record-retention exceptions; support will explain any retained categories and the reason for retaining them.
You can request correction, account deletion or deletion of selected personal data using our Account & Data Deletion page. Deleting an ECP account does not cancel a PAN issued by the competent authority or erase records held independently by government, telecom or payment providers.
Children and applicants represented by adults
Retailer and business account holders must be adults. An application for a minor must be handled by a parent, legal guardian or an authorised representative with the required permission and documentation. A minor's documents must only be submitted for the requested application.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your profile details in the app or website, ask for a copy or correction of your personal information, withdraw a permission in Android settings, and request deletion of your account or selected data on our Account & Data Deletion page. We respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and will tell you if any record must be kept for a legal reason.
